My Journey

When I started my college journey, I had no formal guidance in navigating the realm of data analysis within the business world, but saw it's immense value. Through self-initiative, and determination I took it upon myself to master data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, PowerBi, Tableau, and various Excel applications. This self-taught proficiency not only paved the way for my academic success but also culminated into my first opportunity into the professional world with a company affiliated with my capstone program at PSU.

This combined with my experiences in China studying abroad and my education spanning from marketing, finance, business, data, and Chinese studies, I am looking for a rewarding career in data analysis. I possess a unique global perspective and a deep understanding of business dynamics.

As I embark on this exciting new phase, I am driven to bring my expertise for positive change in the realm of data analysis. Be it dissecting data for insights, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency, or improving data visualization, I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact.

With a solid foundation built over 8 years as a commercial fisherman, I not only acquired life-defining experiences but also contributed to financing my college education. This instilled in me a strong work ethic, resilience, and an appreciation for surmounting challenges.
